Hi, I'm Alex — and tapioca has been a part of my life since I can remember. Growing up in Rio de Janeiro, tapioca was breakfast, lunch, a late-night snack — it was everything. When I moved abroad, I missed it terribly.
So I started making it myself. Friends tried it, loved it, and word spread. Tapioca Carioca is my way of sharing that piece of home with anyone who'll taste it.
Every tapioca I make is handcrafted the traditional way — no preservatives, no shortcuts, just honest Brazilian food.
